Caricature

Yesterday I drew this caricature with my graphic tablet when I'm on the phone:

Helicop skyline

I tried to paint this speed painting from reference. It was a very good practice for me and I will paint more picture from this form.

New Pixar trailer

I saw the new trailer of the next Pixar movie: Ratatouille. This project was formerly listed as 'Untitled Pixar Rodent Project' but the Los Angeles Times reported recently that the movie's title would be the same as the name of the lead rat: 'Ratatouille.' I love it and can't wait to see in the next year the 3d-animation movie.

Little character design tutorial

Some friends asked me how I draw my comic illustrations. So I did this little tutorial for explain it. In the next time I will draw some pictures from reference because I saw that my experience with light, proportions etc. would not be better. I will see if this way is the best for my paintings. The last days it was very hot here and today my favorite world cup team Brazil will play today here in Berlin. I will see this match contra Croatia in the tv.

Romantic sunset

Football World Cup 2006

The Fifa World Cup will be started on friday here in Germany. I will try to see the first match Germany - Costa Rica on a big screen in front of the "Brandenburger Tor" in Berlin. I was this weekend in the captital and you already have noticed the footbol atmosphere. The next month it will be a big party here in all Germany.

Robot war

I painted this pic for a friend many years ago. That was the time where I still drew with Copics. During the last two years I changed the Copic pencil with a grafic tablet but sometimes I try to draw little sketches with Copics on paper.

Spaceship project

Our course have to make a spaceship fight animation like the intro in Star Wars III. For this 15 sec-project we have 3 days for finished it. Yesterday we modelled all fighters. Here one of the 5 destroyers. Hope you like it. In the next days I will post the final animation. Click the first pic to see a little gif-animation:
